Local Dog Made it to the AKC!

One thing that I (well really all the women in our family) start to look forward to this time of year is the Dog Show.  There are two--AKC and the Westminster.  Both are fun to watch, though we've never quite figured out the rhyme or reason to which dogs are selected the winners.  It never seems to be the crowd favorites.

But this year, there is a local (local if you're in the STL area) pup to cheer for in the AKC Dog Show.  Grand Champion Silverbluff Nothing Left To Chantz, (Chantz for short) just won the Best of Breed in the Toy category at the 2011 American Kennel Club/Eukanuba National Championship last month.  Chantz is a Chinese Crested, and beat out 47 other Cresteds to take the Best of Breed title.

  1. Oh my goodness. Couldn't we find a dog less frightening looking to come from here?
