Sunday School Christmas Program

Today was the Sunday School Christmas program at church.  The kids led the service in Word and song.

Getting ready to leave the house, I got the boys to stand still for about a half a second.

Christian was more willing to stand still than his brother.

The preschoolers and kindergarteners were front and center, while the older kids sat in the choir seats. Christian, in the back row in this picture, had just spotted his Oma.  Connor is front row, center.  Singing boldly, but steadfastly refusing to do any of the hand motions.
For Joy to the World, the little kids joined the big kids.
After the service, we attempted to corral the boys for a picture with Oma.  This was easier said than done, as Connor had found a serious burst of energy.  He didn't want to stop moving (racing) around the church.  And then he found a place to sit.

The rays of light streaming down give a bit of an angelic glow to him that was not earned!

Finally, Oma got a grip on him.  Smile!
