They Think They're Sneaky

Since we moved, the boys (mainly Connor) have taken to sneaking treats and "hiding" from me while they eat them.  Connor's preferred spot for this is on the floor at the end of the couch, near the windows.  He ducks down so no one can see him, and enjoys his snack.  If he thinks he's about to be caught, he'll stick whatever sweet treat he has under the couch, grab a book or toy, and give me a guilty grin.

I've learned that it's wise to frequently check under the couch to see what has been left there.  We've found week-old donuts, candy wrappers, unopened fruit snacks, etc hidden under the couch.

They didn't do this in Virginia.

This hasn't been as much an issue with Christian, mainly because he really likes fruits and veggies--he likes the sweets too, but is just as happy grabbing a bunch of broccoli as he is a cookie.

Tonight, I came home, said hi to DP, and since it was quiet, asked, "where are the Bobos?"

All of a sudden, they popped up from the treat spot, giggling, having gotten into the reindeer cookies.

 Sneaky boys.
